Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Emma Greer is a creative force and arts management maven. Before making Los Angeles her home, Emma spent time on the East Coast earning her BFA from Boston University. From there, she split her time between Martha’s Vineyard and New York, working as a performer, instructor, and multimedia arts producer. From there, she moved to Ireland, where she focused on writing while continuing to teach and perform.
Throughout her nomadic days, Emma could be found acting, lounge singing, dancing, playwriting, prose-ing, and/or directing. She has over eight years teaching experience in acting, acting for vocal performers, dialect coaching, theatre history, creative writing, ballet, and movement improv. Her students have gone on to appear on Broadway, prime time television, and in major motion pictures.
Wanting to combine her creative talents with her passion for arts development and her genuine belief in collaboration, Emma moved to Los Angeles and joined the Studio Institute Global team as the Director of Workshops in 2014. In her downtime, Emma can often be found laying down mad verse in her hammock, belting out her new favorite song, or strolling down the LA River with her two dogs.
