Johnnie Hobbs, III is a tap dance performer, and filmmaker who has offered his talents to many L.A. and theatre companies such as The New Freedom Theatre, Adren Theatre Company, Interact Theatre and Matrix Theatre. Since living in L.A. he has lent his comedic talents to AFI's film The Lutheran, Amber and Andre (Winning Best Actor at The Beverly Hills Short Film Festival) 9.14 Pictures mockumentary Headspace, a film produced by the creators of the critically acclaimed documentary “Rock School”. His talent of tap dancing was showcased at The Showtime at The Apollo, and the Inauguration Events in Washington D.C for President Barack Obama. In August 2011 Johnnie judged and performed in The Guatemala Dance Challenge in Guatemala. He has worked on TV segment shows America Now, The Amazing Race, Food Network and was an acting coach on a Showtime TV pilot. He was also worked under film producer Edward Saxon (Silence of the Lambs, Adaptation, Philadelphia). Johnnie has held speaking engagements at University of the Arts, Temple University, Arts Institute Philadelphia, and Santa Monica City College to name a few.
