Studio Institute students are treated like professionals and work in professional settings with high-quality industry equipment. Seasoned industry veterans provide guidance and mentorship throughout the program, ensuring that students always feel comfortable operating equipment and working in a collaborative environment.
In Maui our coursework takes an adventurous turn. Whether it’s snorkeling, hiking through the jungle, or zip-lining through the tree tops with a GoPro – Maui takes cinematography and performance to new heights.
Our Maui campus offers concentrations in Underwater Cinematography for Adults.
Housing (Adult Intensives)
Adults requesting housing are placed at units that are apartment and condo style with full kitchens and laundry. A shuttle is provided for transport to and from coursework and activities.
$725 per week—Double/Triple Occupancy*
$1,450 per week—Single Occupancy*
*Students are assigned two or three to a room, four or six to an apartment. For those electing single occupancy rooms, you will have your own room in an apartment with other attendees. Individual apartments are also available – for pricing information contact your Admission Counselor.
EVENING + WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Throughout your stay with us our staff organizes a series of evening and weekend events to introduce you to Maui and the industry. These could be anything from a surfing lesson to a trek through the jungle. Cost of admittance for these events is included in housing (souvenirs and other elective purchases are the responsibility of the attendant). Those living off campus are welcome to attend with the understanding that fees may apply.
We offer courtesy airport pickup and drop-off from Kahului Airport by request. Arrival and departure days must be the day before classes start and the day after classes end. Flight details including airline, flight number, and arrival time must be sent to our office no later than one week prior to program start dates. Please note that we cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures.
