CFI Partnership

With the creation of the Curaçao Film Institute, the island is finally empowered to offer its natural resources to the expansion and ignition of Curaçao’s film and television industries. Not only is the Curaçao Film Institute developing plans for a fully functioning film studio on the island, but it is also working with us, Studio Institute Global, to bring certification programs to local enthusiasts. These workshops will allow individuals currently working in Curaçao’s entertainment industry to hone personal skills while gaining a heightened understanding of industry policies, procedures, and best practices.

The Curaçao Film Institute was developed as a partnership between Curaçaoan filmmakers Alaric Smeets (screenwriter Double Play), Dolph van Stapele (producer Tula, the Revolt), and entrepreneurs Dorine Baas and Robin van Bokhorst.
